A Remark from the High Priest

9th Day of Marona, 3347, written by High Priest Nila Khoruni

There was a proclamation recently made by Mikdeshora Khoruni. The proclamation is as follows: our nation is in peril as we allow unrestricted access between our people and the outside world. It is due to the influx of Enyes wares and materials turning our art into theirs, our language into theirs, our people into theirs. The Mitzianga united under one cause, which is to worship Hamara as one people.

I am proud of this statement, since it touches on something I have been worrying about for some time. This worry is about the future of our pious people, our faithful nation, our promised land. If we continue to allow people to come and go on their own whims, we will soon find that our nation has nobody in it.

Indeed, I myself have visited lord Halon of the Enyesem, but I spoke to him as a leader who was still loyal to the purpose of his people. With the people emigrating from our city to live with savages, I fear we can not trust our civilization to our children without dramatic changes. I worry that it is the Akoska teaching the children to abandon their purpose in life, to fraternize with uncultured animals, and to engage in selfishness. I call upon the responsible parents of Merenga to keep their children away from the Akoska and to instead raise them with priests as teachers, so that we may keep the dream of Ilian e Edan and of Hamara Themself alive.

Indeed, our wisdom in the true meaning of worship and faith in God will be endowed to anyone who does right by their families and descendants and submit themselves to the authority of the high priest and grand prince of this noble nation. I call upon the mothers to encourage the responsibility of worship of Hamara and upon the fathers to rescue our civilization by constructing a barrier between their families and the dangers of the outside world. It is our duty to keep our civilization alive.
